Ellenville began in my own garden in County Cork.

After countless hours quietly watching the wildlife that visits through the seasons, I began imagining the little stories that might be unfolding just outside the window.

The Garden at Ellenville grew from those observations. A gentle world of curiosity, discovery and friendship, where every paw, wing and tiny clue has a story to tell.

My hope is that the Ellenville books encourage children to look a little closer at the natural world around them and discover the small wonders waiting in their own gardens.
